About Me

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, a career in film was never something I considered possible. I first got into film by watching anything I could get my hands on. As my fascination with film grew, I first turned to writing screenplays then later experimented in filmmaking with a group from all over Dallas. As someone who never really had the equipment, resources or connections that seem necessary in the film industry, you quickly learn that the only way forward is with an independent and genuine passion for the craft.

I am currently attending DePaul University majoring in Film and Television and I am on track to graduate 2024. After graduation, I look forward to making feature films written and directed by me as well as collaborating in the commercial sector of film.

My films have participated in festivals such as SXSW 2021, CineYouth 2023, and many more. My films contain a heavy emphasis on production design and creating detailed, distinct worlds. I love exploring themes related to obsession and the internet, ultimately translating them into surreal, colorful experiences. I have always considered myself a student of the craft and jump at any opportunity to learn more about the medium. My favorite filmmakers are Jacques Demy, Sidney Lumet, David Lynch, Lynne Ramsey & Paul Thomas Anderson amongst many, many others!
